Absolutely brilliant vet here. I have been a few times now for my small pets and Lucy is absolutely amazing. She was knowledgeable, kind and considerate every time. I had to schedule an emergency appointment for my youngest rat as she was lethargic and very much not herself this morning. The reception staff were helpful and considerate too. Thank you all SO much for helping us. Highly recommend.

Great experience with my reactive GSD at Sandhole every effort was made to make us feel comfortable and understood which is often difficult with a reactive dog.

Recently registered at Sandholes happy to pay that bit extra to get decent care and service. 4 weeks in and I'm very disappointed. Just getting an appointment is challenging. You can only book appointments online provided you don't need seeing within a week and then only for 1 dog. I was told this was to keep 'on the day' appointments free. Rang at ten past 8 on the day to be told there were no appointments. I have 2 dogs but for some bizarre reason it's impossible to take both dogs at the same time. Beware of their crafty prescribing that means you're paying weekly for repeat prescriptions rather than 1 price for a months medication and I'll leave the quote for ultrasound at £1400 here.

Very clean veterinary centre with polite, warm, kind staff in all I have had contact with. They are not afraid to seek a second opinion from colleagues to make sure our pets are given the best treatment/advice.

Sadly my cousin's dog died very unexpectedly. I contacted the vets for the cremation service. The lady I spoke to was very understanding. We took Jak into the vets immediately, even though the practice was officially closed. We were still in shock but the staff were very understanding and compassionate and dealt with Jak and us in a very caring way. This is not what most pet owners think about but we couldn't have asked for better service on the night. Thank you.

Took my snake for a check up. First time going to this vets & couldn't be happier with our experience. Highly recommend. Lucy (exotic pet specialist) was great!

I cannot fault these vets and my expectations are high . My dogs always are welcomed so well. One second of My dogs is so nervous of vets and all of the staff have gone above and beyond to try to reassure him and me! , I have been at this vets for around 3 years and only joined as I moved areas . My previous vet I was at for 20+ years . I also visited all the vets in the area , called them etc , and I am pleased with my choice .

My XL bully Reggie was neutered earlier today, with fantastic care from Sandhole vets and nurses his surgery went very well and is recovering nicely. Thank you Sandhole for looking after our boy reggie :) xxx

All of my animals have been cared for by this practice. Lovely reception team, wonderful vets. Kind, compassionate and they really care about you and your beloved pets. I would recommend highly.

The whole team at Sandhole are dedicated to giving pets and owners a positive, pleasant and friendly experience. Their friends and family scheme is excellent value for money. My furbaby, Baileys, life was saved two years ago by very prompt and accurate diagnosis.I would not take him anywhere else. I have heard people complain that their prices have gone up since the new owners bought the practice, but then most shops and services have increased pricing over the last year. Personally I cannot put a price on my pets health and will continue to visit until he no longer needs veterinary care or a loving home
